Farrah Fawcett Dies of Cancer at Age 62

Actress Farrah Fawcett passed away after a long battle with cancer. She was 62 years old. Fawcett shot to worldwide fame during her role in “Charlie’s Angels” which drew 23 million per week. Her infamous red bathing suit pin-up poster (as seen above) still holds a record with 12 million copies sold. She was diagnosed with cancer in 2006.

“After a long and brave battle with cancer, our beloved Farrah has passed away. Although this is an extremely difficult time for her family and friends, we take comfort in the beautiful times that we shared with Farrah over the years and the knowledge that her life brought joy to so many people around the world,” her longtime partner Ryan O’Neal said in a statement.  Source
