Diddy has just released the video to “Angels”, the first single from his fifth studio album, ‘Last Train To Paris’. The song features his new group, Dirty Money and rapper Notorious B.I.G. The video was directed by Hype Williams. Hmm, I’m not so sure I like this song. I sort of like it, but then I don’t, might be a grower. The video is nothing spectacular. I wonder what made him release this as the 1st single?…This rapper/singer crap is played out. SMH.
Pretty Ricky are just now releasing the video to “Tipsy In This Club”. This is a wack video for a song that is already played out. I think they waited way too long to release this clip. It should have been out during the whole “red panty” youtube controversy with Spectacular.
The New Boyz are out with their second single, “Tie Me Down” featuring an auto-tuned Ray J. The song is basically about how a girl isn’t going to tie them down. Now, correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t most girls ready for “love” or a “relationship”? Is their core audience (females) really going to be receptive to a song that promotes them as “hoes” and just a sexual jumpoff? Or am I reading too much into this? I just honestly can’t see alot of these young girls going around singing “yea we make love, sex weed…but you ain’t gon tie me down”…Lord, these kids today.
