So to celebrate “The Simpsons” 20th Anniversary. One of America’s favorite mothers, Marge Simpson is posing for Playboy! She is the very first cartoon character to grace the Playboy cover. She is set to cover to grace the cover of the November issue and it will hit the newsstands October 16. What in the world is going on people! What are we teaching our children?! The good news is, Marge won’t be bare-naked though! The magazine says there will only be “implied nudity” in the 3-page pictorial.Â
New CEO Scott Flanders says the idea is to attract readers in their 20s to a magazine where the average reader’s age is 35.
Sidenote: This is pretty funny though. LOL.

Surprised to read that Marge is the first cartoon to be on the cover… Jessica Rabbit from “Who Framed Roger Rabbit” was a missed opportunity.
I think thats a pretty good marketing idea…it will def catch ppl’s interest. & I don’t think it has anything to do w/kids lol…my kids don’t even know what Playboy is…i don’t think the average kid sees them at the stores…or maybe i’m just naive.
& LOL @ Jessica Rabbit being a missed opportunity. What about Betty Boop back in the day haha
