The 2009 Glamour Woman of The Year Awards took place last night in New York City. Rihanna and Serena Williams were presented with top honors. A teary-eyed Rihanna appeared on stage saying “I am shaking right now. I am so nervous, but overwhelmed and honored by this honor to be Glamour’s Woman of the Year,†as she accepted her award from model Iman. She thanked her mother and “granny” and mentioned how those were her two woman of the year.
