The song “Save Me” was originally done by Jordin Sparks and was a bonus track via her first album Jordin Sparks. Now we get to hear another version of the song, recorded by Toni Braxton. The question is, whose version is better? I think I like Jordin’s version more, because it’s giving me more of an ‘umph’ (especially the chorus). I really hate Toni’s whispery vocals on this track, but she did kill those versus. What do you guys think?

Toni’s Version

The song sucks period, So I’m going to say Jordin. I’d rather her have these types of songs. Toni is a wonderful vocalist and I cannot wait for her album Pulse on May 4th.
the song is not good for either
I prefer Toni’s version b/c it sounds less forced and her delivery overall is just better. Still love Jordin tho.

I am actually a huge fan of both Jordin Sparks and Toni Braxton…But I have gotta say that I prefer and love Jordin’s version of “Save Me” above anyone that did a cover on it…hands-down! Cause Jordin’s voice blends in with the melody very very well and I have been listening to it ever since it came out…Toni Braxton did actually do a job well done!
Toni brought it better but not to take anything away from Jordin neither arrangement was any good
