Roc Nation’s newest signee, 18-yr-old Alexis Jordan releases the music video to her first single “Happiness”. I’m not quite sure this kind of material will take her too far. I like it, it’s kind of catchy, but at the same time this girl can really sing and the song isn’t showcasing much vocal ability. It’ll be interesting to see how far Jay Z can take his new protege. Do you guys approve?

I can tell she can sing…if i was about 6 yrs younger I could probably deal wit the song but it’s so disney, Devil Wears Prada soundtrackish….she should be aight if she gets an MTV rotation….it’ll be interesting to see if she goes “bad girl” like Rihanna or bad girl for reals lol
