Christina Aguilera performed the National Anthem at Game 6 of the 2010 NBA Finals last night. The performance took place right before the Lakers’ smashed the Celtics at the Los Angeles Staples Center. Christina did a great rendition and didn’t go too overboard (as we might have expected her to). I feel like she needs to go ahead and shoot/release a video for “Woo hoo” with Nicki Minaj, like yesterday! Her 1st week sales were not too spectacular, having sold a mere 111, 838 units. Making it the lowest 1st week sales of her 10 year career.

I hope one day she will hook up with Jermaine Dupri or another cutting edge producer willing to take a chance on pushing her envelope vocally. Christina is really a true vocal talent that we have just heard glimpses of. But if unleashed the right way could send her into orbit. She needs something to let it out like the Emancipation of XTina…I propose lol
