Kiss 95.7 Kick Off Summer With Annual Radio Show!

KISS 95.7’s annual Summer Kick Off Concert brought out rockers (We The Kings), R&B crooners (Iyaz, Taio Cruz and Jason Derulo) and America’s favorite grungy pop star (Ke$ha) to Six Flags New England last Sunday afternoon.

We The Kings riled up many of the youngsters in the crowd with their sometimes mellow, sometimes head banging cuts during their set as they opened Kiss 95.7’s annual radio show.  Taio Cruz lacked a bit of stage presence despite a solid vocal performance and even fell off the stage at one point by trying to step upon a speaker.  But the singer kept the crowd singing with fan favorites such as “Break Your Heart” and his forthcoming single “Dynamite.”  I’ve had my hesitation about Jason Derulo as I’m convinced he says his name (Jasonnnn DeRulllloooo) in every one of his songs so that he forces listeners to not forget it but he’s definitely put some good performances by showcasing diligent vocals and dance skills.  If only he’d lay off the samples overkill of auto-tune, then we’d be in business.  Party girl Ke$ha brought her glitter, swearing, pop tunes party to the park as the concert’s main performer singing her hit singles and her recently announced 4th single ‘Take It Off.  Take a look at TrueExclusive’s montage from last week’s concert!
