After teasing her fans last week with a 30 second snippet of her forthcoming single, R&B songstress Jennifer Hudson has released ‘Where You At‘ in full. The ballad, penned by R. Kelly and produced by Harvey Mason, Jr will serve as the lead single from her sophomore album I Remember Me, in stores March 22, 2011. Take a listen below:
Hudson herself stated that the song is a grower and that she was unimpressed with the song at first. We sure do hope thats the case. Even with a superb vocal performance from Jennifer’s behalf, the lackluster song sounds like a decent album track, at most. Lead single material, it is not. Don’t be surprised when this is labeled a buzz single followed by a dismal chart run in a couple of months.
