Tyrese is set to release his forthcoming album Open Invitation on November 1st.
His current single “Stay” will be proceeded by “The Rest of Our Lives”, a collabo with singer Brandy (or Melanie Fiona). No word on why there are two versions, but at a recent listening party, Tyrese played Brandy’s version.
About the song, Tyrese says:
“This is a wedding song that was written for the ‘First Dance” where the husband is speaking blessings into his wife’s life and she’s doing the same in the second verse” We were long overdue for a new classic wedding song embrace and enjoy.”

Wow thats a hard one but I will go with brandy because she brings a little more soul to the song.
They both did great. That is a hard one. Some parts I think Melanie voice fits the song better, but in some parts I think Brandy sang it better.
Not really a fan of the song too much though. Love their voices, but it was a little weak too old sounding it needed like a modern twist to it and maybe a build. I wanna hear a acapella version.
