‘Moesha’ and ‘The Parkers’ star Yvette Wilson (Andell), has passed away at the age of 48. The actress lost her battle with cancer. Co-star and best friend Shar Jackson confirmed the news via Twitter; “Oh god….. My heart is soooo unbelievably broken …. I wanna thank all my tweeties for their prayers but god has chosen to take my sister Yvette home.. …” posted the actress. 

Wilson’s battle with stage 4 cervical cancer was recently publicized in hopes of raising money for medical expenses. Her comedy will live on forever and may she rest in peace.
