Blow her; a kiss that is. Fresh off her new album cover shoot with photographer Deborah Anderson, Pink has announced the title (and release date) for her highly anticipated new single. Blow Me, which was co-written with Greg Kurstin (Lily Allen, Dido), is set to be released on July 9th and marks Pink’s first return to music since releasing her platinum greatest hits album (Greatest Hits… So Far!!!) in 2010 and giving birth to her daughter Willow Sage Hart early last year.

As underrated as she may be (in the United States), Billboard magazine named her the number one pop artist of the decade while Forbes magazine has her ranked as the 27th most powerful celebrity in the world. Her last few (critically acclaimed) albums have all outsold her former 90′s pop rivals recent releases (Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera) and her last tour broke records and grossed over $60 million. She has some of the best vocal chops in the industry and she was doing a lot of the artsy music videos long before Katy Perry and Lady Gaga. Yet somehow, some way, Pink slides under the radar. I wonder what it is?

Here’s to her finally getting the recognition she deserves. Its long overdue.
