TLC has always been one of music’s most groundbreaking and trendsetting groups. Throughout the years the ladies were known for ‘keeping it real’ when it came to social issues such as sex, the music business(theirs in particular) among other things. So it should come as no surprise if you were to ask one of the members their opinion on something, that you are bound to get an HONEST one! Well that came this week following their win at the MOBO Awards when T-Boz sat down with London’s own This Is Max and had few choice words on a certain two reality shows and their choice of judges. Get into the clip that has everyone buzzing
Although not the full interview, this brief clip had twitter timelines running rampant. Specifically, Nicki Minaj fans went on a massive attack(no surprise there) directing their frustration at T-Boz, which she ultimately prompted the following responses below via her TWITTER
“My 1st comment was about Xfactor & some guest who can’t sing judging then my 2nd was about American Idol & I stand by my statement Over NEXT”
“I’m in this bizz. All this crap is fact & its based on bringing in numbers now and NOT really why it was originated . So get mad…scratch ya a**…take a picture I don’t but Remb it I’ll say what I want that doesn’t mean I don’t like or respect someone lol.
“I’ll say what I think &always will I think it’s funny the truth is the truth ha the name calling sh*t is hysterical cuz I don’t wanna watch. I don’t hv a problem w/ Nikki. I don’t like what the shows stand for. Where’s the lil yellow bus beep beep. Y’all don’t think I’m mad or bothered, we’re over here cracking up cuz they going off over the wrong things it’s sad but funny.”
What are your thoughts on the issue? What T-Boz said held a lot of truth and is what many have said from the beginning. Was she wrong for voicing her opinion? On another note, I feel a diss on a verse headed right toward T-Boz’s way anyday now…
