A Grammy nominated singer, reality star and now fitness trainer, the Harvey, Illinois native Syleena Johnson is moving and shaking to the drums of her beats literally. Her passion for fitness lead her to create her new workout series, Mommy Got Soul….a workout DVD for moms. Johnson who is a mother of two understands the challenges of trying to lose the baby weight after giving birth to her second son. Mommy Got Soul was created for the mom who needs an extra push. Some of Syleena’s celebrity friends will join her in the workout series like Chanita Foster from VH1 Football Wives fame and Nikki Gilbert from R&B Divas.

After the debut of R&B Divas on TVONE, Syleena released a live Acoustic Soul Sessions CD. While her focus right now is set on the release date of Mommy Got Soul, Syleena is recording her new CD Chapter 6. She moved to Atlanta and I feel like Syleena Johnson singing over a Sean Garret produced song would be incredible. Syleena stated, “I just connected with Sean Garret so we will see, I really would like to work with Kanye again.”
