What was supposed to be a surprise pop-up show by Kanye West, turned into chaos, with more than 4,000 fans mobbing Webster Hall early Monday morning.
At about midnight on Monday, Kanye hinted about a secret show at the East Village venue, via his Twitter account. Within minutes, thousands of die-hard Yeezy fans surrounded the intimate venue. Webster Hall’s management was forced to shut down the show.
Kanye showed up at around 2 AM, standing outside of the sunroof of his vehicle. The rapper spoke to the throngs of fans and seemed to enjoy the madness.
